Locast Streaming Review

Over the Air TV- Free TV

You can buy an antenna, but they might only get a few channels and are not easy to work with. I tried using one, but I only got four or five channels, and I didn’t want to put one in every room that had a TV. Depending on the area you live in, you can get 20 to 40 channels. I tried out a few digital antennas, but I couldn’t put one on my roof due to HOA rules.

For an  easy way to find out what type of antenna and what channels you’ll get go to https://www.antennaweb.org/

A few options- Digital TV Antenna 130 Miles Range OR Antenna 150 Miles Range with Mounting Pole

I recommend you download the app Locast.  It's free, but they do ask for donations. They provide all of the over the air channels plus some others — no need to deal with an Antenna.

According to their website, “Locast has modernized the delivery of broadcast TV by offering streaming media free of charge and is available now on all popular mobile and streaming platforms. That means you can watch it on any device you have anywhere for free.”

I love this app for watching TV after cutting the cord on cable. I did donate $5 to them because it is an excellent service.

See the video below for how the service works.

My thoughts and opinions: no one is paying me to promote their products. This means no company is paying me to give them good reviews. I’m not going to play that game of we’ll provide you with cash, products, referrals, and so on if you give us good reviews. If a company feels like giving me money, products, or referrals, then good for them. This will not change how I review their products. If I think the product is Good, I will promote it as a tested product that I stand behind as it should work fine for you. I have no problem saying what’s good, bad, needs fixed, or added to the product.
